Can I import my own custom 3D models?
Absolutely! You can upload your own 3D project models in .glb, .gltf, .obj, or .fbx formats (exported in Meters). Even better, once imported, you can edit materials, change colors, adjust opacity, and toggle wireframe edges directly within the Web App.
Can I add context elements like trees or people?
Yes, but to maintain a clean architectural aesthetic, the Web App's Dynamic Symbols library provides highly simplified, abstract versions of these elements (like ghosted trees or basic massing blocks). You can also drag and drop professional wind analysis arrows and 3D text pins to annotate your diagrams instantly.

How do I align the satellite map with my 3D model?
You never have to manually rotate your 3D model! Just use the True North (North Offset) slider in the Location tab. This seamlessly rotates both the Sunpath and the precise 1:1 Satellite Map background around your fixed model, perfectly aligning the real-world map with your project's orientation.
Does the solar analysis account for Daylight Saving Time?
Yes, the app handles this fully automatically! Based on your location, it detects the exact local timezone and DST rules. The UTC offset for specific months is even visually represented directly on the 3D Sun path diagram, ensuring 100% real-world accuracy for your shadow analysis.
How large of an area can the Context Map cover?
The map uses a strict 1:1 real-world scale and loads a high-resolution 1280x1280 pixel image. To cover a larger physical radius (e.g., city scale vs. block scale), simply decrease the Zoom Level (zoom out) so that each pixel covers more real-world meters.
Can I export high-quality images and videos?
Absolutely. You can render and export high-quality JPGs (up to 5K resolution), PDFs, and Cinematic Video animations directly from your browser without needing any third-party rendering software.
Can I save my projects to work on them later?
